Worldwide Technology is looking for a SRE/IAM Engineer. This role is part of WWT’s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Title: SRE/IAM Engineer
Location: Hybrid - Alpharetta GA, NYC, or Menlo CA (3 days onsite)
Duration/Type of Job: 12+ months
Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $50 to $80 hourly (Rate range is on C2C basis). Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
Job Summary:
- Will accept candidates local to Alpharetta GA, NYC, or Menlo CA
(If candidates are local to Alpharetta, their 2nd round interview will be onsite)
- There is an on call rotation aspect to this role
IAM skillset is most important, then SRE basic knowledge after that
Must have basic command line programming and scripting experience
Experience w Ping suite of products highly sought after
To be successful on this team you need: IAM Principles:
Build, maintain, and optimize global company IAM services, assessing system performance and offering suggestions and contributing to solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions across the organization.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
Resolve issues escalated by customers and engineers.
Align IT IAM infrastructure with current and future business requirements and strategic goals
SRE Principles:
Champion Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles within the team.
Collaborate with development teams to improve system architecture and resilience.
Drive initiatives to enhance system security, reliability, availability, and performance, leveraging new and emerging process automation opportunities to improve organization effectiveness and efficiencies.
Partnering with system owners, certify business continuity and disaster recovery efforts of our IAM systems.
Requirements:
An acute understanding of: IAM products, especially those provided by ForgeRock and Ping Identity.
Intermediate knowledge of standard SRE principles and processes (pipeline dependencies, command line programming, dashboard use, etc..)
Intermediate knowledge of operating system administration on Windows and Linux [Redhat] platforms An intermediate knowledge of at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Perl, Python or Shell and familiarity with using debuggers when troubleshooting.
Familiarity working with operational and plant management tooling such as Splunk, Grafana, ServiceNow and Jira and Jenkins
Experience working with large enterprise architecture.
General network and enterprise security standards and concepts
This role may require on-location work with WWT customers. Some customers may require WWT employees and contractors coming on-site to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and/or to receive frequent negative COVID-19 testing.
