We're seeking a future team member for the role of Sr. Release Train Engineer to join our team. This role can be based out of our Lake Mary, FL, or Pittsburgh, PA offices - Hybrid.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • The RTE facilitates process and execution and drive a culture of continuous improvement and integration by fostering community of practice.
  • They lead and/or participate in lean-agile transformations, coach leadership, and other teams in agile mindsets and new processes. They act as a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART) or product.
  • They work with the Agile Program Management Office on program execution and operational excellence and understand and operate within Lean Budgets to ensure adherence to Guardrails
  • Facilitates the development events, process and execution. They help ensure value delivery, and help drive a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Coach leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in SAFe, agile mindsets and new processes.
  • Manage and optimize the flow through the program
  • Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
  • Facilitate the PI planning event. Summarize Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency
  • Escalate and track impediments. Help manage risks and dependencies and report status
  • Improve the flow of value through value streams by improving and assessing the practices associated with DevOps and Release on Demand in the Continuous Delivery Pipeline
  • Facilitate System Demos Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and help them improve Foster Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Expertise
  • Expertise in playing the Release Train Engineer role for large initiatives, programs or Agile Release Trains
  • Experience in managing regulatory programs in Financial Crime and Compliance is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Lean-Agile principles, practices, frameworks, and method
  • Effective facilitation and teaching methods
  • Coaching and mentoring approaches, including the distinction between the two
  • Ability to drive decisions and resolve conflicts across multiple parties
  • Experience successfully running agile projects of varying size and complexity
  • Preferred to have Agile certifications including SAFe RTE, SPC, CSM.

T he Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART) or product. The RTE's major responsibilities are to facilitate the development events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.
