Job Title: Process Designer
Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid)
Duration: 6-12 months
Seeking a Process Designer to play a crucial role in optimizing business processes for technology implementation projects. This individual will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing improved future-state processes that leverage new technologies to enhance performance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gathering business requirements and understanding performance metrics.
- Mapping and analyzing current state processes to pinpoint pain points and root causes.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to design future-state processes and implement process controls.
- Contributing to solution prototyping and testing, recommending fixes, and validating results.
- Ensuring successful implementation of solutions, validating process improvements, and creating final process documentation demonstrating achieved benefits.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- 5-10 years of experience in process design.
- Strong proficiency in process mapping and modeling tools (e.g., BPMN 2.0, Visio, Signavio).
- Proven ability to analyze processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization techniques.
- Experience in workflow design and optimization to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Competence in data analysis and interpretation for process performance measurement.
- Familiarity with performance measurement and KPIs.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
Desired skills include:
experience in the electric utility industry, understanding of relevant regulations, strong requirements gathering skills, and experience with outcome-oriented transformation in an agile environment.
