Workday Business Analyst
Location: Remote (US)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workday Business Analyst to support, optimize, and scale our HR technology ecosystem. This role will analyze L2/L3 issues, own requirements, drive functional design, and collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver high-quality Workday solutions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and fix L2/L3 tickets
- Lead requirements gathering, functional design, and solution optimization
- Configure and support Workday modules and integrations (EIB, Core Connector, PECI, WECI, Studio)
- Deliver enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and production support
- Build advanced custom reports, BIRT reports, calculated fields, and orchestrations
- Govern Workday security, role-based access, and compliance controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to improve HR, Payroll, and Benefits processes
Required Functional Expertise
Core HCM & HR Ops
- Hire-to-retire lifecycle, org structure, global HCM processes
- Data governance, compliance awareness, policy alignment
Recruiting
- End-to-end recruiting lifecycle, workforce planning, approval workflows, compliance
Absence & Time Tracking
- Leave policies, accruals, statutory compliance, workforce scheduling, payroll alignment
Compensation & Advanced Compensation
- Salary structures, merit cycles, budget governance, incentive/bonequity programs
Talent
- Performance management, goals, succession, talent analytics
Integrations
- Business alignment, data governance, incident management, impact assessment
Preferred Skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in enterprise HR transformation environments
- Ability to translate business needs into scalable Workday solutions
