Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the lead Program Manager to implement Data Quality (DQ) improvement programs, including inventorying critical electric asset data, capturing metadata, measuring DQ, and executing high-priority enhancements.
- Collaborate with business data stewards, IT teams (Foundry ontology, DQ, architecture), and system specialists to drive program adoption.
- Document metadata in Collibra, integrate data into Foundry, develop DQ rules, and guide dashboard creation for DQ monitoring.
- Track and report KPIs to stakeholders and leadership on program progress.
- Monitor, triage, and remediate DQ rule errors; update rules with Business Data Stewards as needed.
- Ensure corrective actions are taken when data fails governance standards.
- Advise on strategy and roadmap expansion (e.g., event data).
Qualifications:
- Required: BA/BS in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience); 10+ years of relevant experience; proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python, Foundry, PowerBI, and data governance tools.
- Preferred: Utility sector experience (electric/gas); expertise in data management, Agile/Kanban methodologies, and stakeholder engagement. Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
