Job Description:

Design and implement hardware and software solutions including documentation, testing & modification, schematics, mechanical drawings, cable assemblies, and part lists. Test and evaluate hardware and software designs to ensure proper operation.

The Junior Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
  • Support a range of analytical products and functions to allow for development of signal exploitation capabilities.
  • Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
  • Analyze hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to conceive and document a practical design for hardware components to include servers, network devices, transmission media, storage devices, user interface devices, and special processors
  • Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents,
  • Requirements specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
  • Assist with the development of system requirements, functional requirements, and allocation of the same to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one (1) year of engineering experience is required.
  • A BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or an equivalent technical field can substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
