What You'll Do

As a Business Analyst, you'll be the vital link between our Operations, Solutions, Product, and Development teams. You'll collaborate closely with them to identify, develop, and implement product and technology-based solutions that boost operational efficiency, enhance accuracy, and reduce risk.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Documenting and implementing business and functional product requirements. You'll frequently use tools like Advent Geneva, JIRA, Confluence, and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Educating our operations teams on new products and solutions.
  • Maintaining a solid understanding of our various businesses, client businesses, and the financial services industry in general.
  • Applying creative problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges and significantly improve processes.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a motivated individual with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with alternative investment systems.
  • Proficiency in Advent Geneva is essential (Accounting for Multiple Assets, Multi-Curreny Accounting, Position Management, NAV & P/L Calculation, Workflow Automation & Reconciliation)
  • Familiarity with Data Management in Geneva - Reference Data, Market Data, Transaction Data, Reporting Data
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and the drive to complete multiple deliverables promptly without compromising excellence or quality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively support internal clients via email and phone.
  • Strong customer service skills for daily communication with internal clients and other service providers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities to creatively and diligently meet our users' needs.
