What you will do:

• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering and design tasks
• Design and test product or system software such as support tools, gateways, chiller controls, web application, or web infrastructure under the direction of an assigned engineer
• Work with assigned engineer to research and analyze data such as specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application

Minimum Qualifications:

• Sophomore or Junior currently enrolled in an accredited degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
• Experience with C or C++, or HTML
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Linux OS
• Reside within a 300-mile radius of our Staunton, VA office

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $27 - $30/hr in VA. This represents the pay for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
