About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to lead client data modernization journey, driving Agile delivery across cloud migration, data platforms, and analytics initiatives. In this role, you ll facilitate Agile ceremonies, coach teams, and collaborate with data engineers, architects, and product owners to ensure successful delivery

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams working on data modernization projects (cloud migration, data lake/data warehouse, data governance, reporting).

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Partner with Product Owners to manage the backlog and ensure clear prioritization.

Support the team in breaking down epics into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Track and communicate progress, velocity, and delivery risks to stakeholders.

Coach and mentor teams in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business analysts to ensure alignment with modernization goals.

Proactively identify and remove blockers to delivery.

Required Skills & Experience:

12 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master.

Familiarity with the medallion architecture

Familiarity with AWS and snowflake.

Experience in Data Modernization programs (cloud data platforms, data lakes, ETL/ELT modernization, data governance, analytics).

Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Rally, Azure DevOps).

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong problem-solving and servant-leadership mindset.

Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe SM) is a plus.
