Sr. Model Based Embedded Software Engineer

job summary:

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Embedded Software Engineer with at least 5 years of experience doing model based software development using Math Works on a highly visible program with a very demanding schedule.

The role is preferably onsite in Rockford, IL but can be remote for an exceptional engineer!

Candidates need to be s due to the nature of the work.

responsibilities:

Required Skills -

- Deep expertise in Model-Based Design using Mathworks

- Five plus years of experience with C programming for embedded systems

- Possess excellent communication skills and ability to interface with all levels of management

- The candidate must be highly knowledgeable and have proven experience in DO178 A/B software certification processes.

- This candidate should also possess experience in developing and maintaining high and low-level requirements.

Job Duties -

Hands on experience in the development and troubleshooting of embedded model based software for iteration development for the B52 and new software development for the E7. While strictly following DO178 A/B certification standards

Job Requirements -

5 years of Model Based Embedded Software Engineering

5 years of Math Works experience

5 years of Engine Control Experience strong verbal and written communication skills

5 years DO178 A/B Process experience

Desired Skills & Experience -

Aerospace Experience

DevOps Experience

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
