Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with scripting experience to support data center operations and network upgrades. This role involves executing network changes using code, collaborating with engineering teams, and leveraging documentation to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adjust network configurations to meet performance and capacity needs
- Execute changes across multiple network devices using scripts
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and implement solutions
- Design and build network prototypes including hardware and software
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
- Use documentation (playbooks, runbooks, wikis) to guide tasks
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Linux/Unix systems, and Python scripting
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and enterprise network operations
- Familiarity with computer hardware related to data storage
- Experience with configuration management and operating system software
- Ability to write and understand basic scripts (Python, C++)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Data center engineering experience
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Prior experience in tech-driven organizations
Education:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field
