RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who can help automate the regression test suite and assist in documenting manual test cases for new features in the client's systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree in Computer Science or similar area of study
* 8+ years of experience in QA automation
* 1+ years of experience in Mongo DB, Node JS and AWS (Lambda, Step functions and cloud watch)
* Knowledge or experience with pipelines, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes
* Able to identify business risks & contribute to user story definition
* Experience in defining and reviewing Test Cases & Plans
* Creativity and thinking out-of-the-box as this project heart of store technology
* Experience in writing automation frameworks from scratch
* Experience and in-depth knowledge of one or more programming languages (ex: JavaScript, Java, C#, etc.)
* Experience with one or more test tools & frameworks (ex: Selenium Web driver, cypress, Karate, JMeter, etc.)
* Team player mentality, actively cooperating with both engineering and non-engineering colleagues
* QA Mindset: We build stuff together, then break it and love doing it
* Experience working in SCRUM environments
* Practical experience with web testing or development
* Experience with TDD, BDD/Gherkin
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
