Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role will primarily focus on analyzing and improving manufacturing processes using Oracle E-Business Suite. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support solutions that enhance efficiency and align with industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with diverse teams, including IT professionals, business stakeholders, and end users, to comprehend business requirements related to manufacturing processes
Analyze existing manufacturing workflows and identify areas for improvement in line with business standardized processes, industry best practices, and Oracle E-Business Suite capabilities
Design and configure Oracle E-Business Suite modules specific to manufacturing such as Inventory, Bills of Material (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES), and Quality Management
Develop comprehensive functional specifications to guide developers in effective solution implementation
Collaborate closely with developers during solution implementation, customization, and testing to ensure functional specifications are translated into technical solutions accurately
Conduct system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure solutions meet business requirements and integrate seamlessly within the manufacturing environment
Provide training to end-users and create documentation to support efficient utilization of the manufacturing components of Oracle E-Business Suite
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes and Oracle E-Business Suite configurations promptly to minimize disruptions and downtime
Actively participate in system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal impact on manufacturing operations
Assist with the rollout and future support of the Orbit reporting tool.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role
Proficiency in database management, including experience with DB2 Database
Experience with EO/IR systems
Familiarity with IBM and Microsoft platforms
Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies
Ability to create comprehensive Business Requirement Documents
Understanding of computer hardware and its applications within the business
Experience with Configuration Management
Proven track record in managing and executing deployments
Candidates must have the legal right to work in the location of the job without requiring sponsorship
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong understanding of business processes and operations
Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in Systems Analysis.
