Location: Remote

Type: Contract-to-hire
Pay: $80-100/hr

Job Description:
As a Spiff Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Salesforce's Sales Performance Management (SPM) solutions to meet client needs. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to develop scalable and efficient compensation management solutions that align with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) and expertise in implementing SPIFF (Sales Performance Incentive Funding Formula) programs within Salesforce. This role requires a deep understanding of sales compensation strategies, Salesforce platform capabilities, and the ability to design and implement complex incentive structures.

Responsibilities:
  • Designing and Implementing SPIFF Programs: Working within the Spiff platform to design, configure, and implement sales incentive programs (SPIFFs) within Salesforce that align with specific business objectives.
  • Understanding Requirements and Translating Them: Analyzing sales compensation strategies and company goals to build effective incentive plans within Spiff.
  • Platform Configuration and Rule Creation: Setting up and configuring the Spiff platform, including creating rules for commission calculations and payouts, automating workflows, and building reports.
  • Data Integration: Connecting Spiff with other key business systems, such as Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, HRIS, ERP, and Payroll systems, to ensure data accuracy and seamless commission processes.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Identifying and resolving issues related to SPIFF calculations and payouts, and optimizing existing programs for better performance.
  • Technical Expertise and Solution Design: Possessing a deep understanding of Spiff's product offerings and acting as a technical advisor to design solutions that address customer needs.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with sales teams, customers, finance, and other internal teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Spiff solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for SPIFF processes and configurations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on SPIFF functionality.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce updates and new features related to incentive compensation.
  • Optimize existing SPIFF programs for improved performance and accuracy.
  • Architect data migration and integration with other systems as needed
  • Participate in testing and reconciliation processes.
Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in Spiff implementation, configuration, or solution architecture within Salesforce environments.
  • Strong knowledge of sales compensation plans, incentive structures, and commission models.
  • Hands-on experience in Spiff administration, rule creation, workflow automation, and reporting.
  • Expertise in data modeling, SQL, and API-based integrations.
  • Experience with other ICM tools and platforms
  • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
