About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in retail operations and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, omnichannel retail processes, and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for retail technology initiatives, including POS and omnichannel solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to understand operational challenges and translate them into actionable technical requirements.
  • Work closely with development teams, QA, and project managers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented effectively.
  • Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Support system integrations, data mapping, and testing activities for retail applications.
  • Prepare detailed functional specifications, workflows, and user stories for development teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and status meetings with stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in retail or e-commerce environments.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, POS systems, and omnichannel strategies (e.g., BOPIS, curbside pickup, ship-from-store).
  • Experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with retail ERP systems, inventory management, or order management systems.
  • Knowledge of integration processes between POS and e-commerce platforms.
  • Exposure to data analytics and reporting tools for retail performance metrics.
