Job Details

The Senior Business Systems Analyst with wide-ranging experience and high degree of knowledge in business requirement and business process best practice, Applies functional and technical expertise to support business application systems; analysis of system issues and business requirement; in-depth evaluation of available system functions to provide solutions.
Information Technology (IT) supports campus-wide business applications, including the enterprise wide ERP system for both Supply Chain and Financials including but not limited to: the PeopleSoft Financials system, Allscripts (Health procurement system), BearBuy (Campus procurement system), and IT Recharge system.

The Senior Business Systems Analyst provides functional expertise to support these business application systems.

This expertise includes daily production system support, implementation of new enhancements, and upgrades of current systems.

Additionally, this position will contribute to the implementation of the new Oracle ERP platform.

The ideal candidate will leverage experience in ERP projects to ensure a smooth transition and optimization of business processes.

Responsibilities include providing insights into best practices, participating in system design discussions, and supporting the integration of Supply Chain functions within the new platform.

Demonstrate experience as a senior resource leading in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, functional configuration, testing, and client user training.
  • Review current business requirements and their processes across multiple financial modules: General Ledger, Asset Management, Payables, etc..
  • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems in your area of responsibility, where analyzing situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Work independently and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodology
