Description
Our client is a not-for-profit healthcare system made up of hospitals and its provider networks, clinical programs, and other affiliated healthcare systems. The Technical Operations Team is looking to hire a Systems Administrator to support their 3rd shift schedule. This shift would rotate every four week, so you would start with 12-hour shifts from 6pm-6am Mon-Wed with a 6-hour shift on Thursday. After 4 weeks, you would rotate to 12-hour shifts from 6pm-6am Fri-Sun with a 6-hour shift on Thursday.
This individual will be the first point of contact for the service desk overnight. If there are any issues this person cannot resolve, there are two senior team members on-call to assist. The environment is made up of 7,000 servers, 90% are virtualized Windows on VMware. A Windows Server Technical Assessment will be required to be considered for the role. The goal is for this person to convert as a full-time employee of the hospital.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

- At least 1 year of basic systems administration experience supporting a virtualized Windows server environment. This person will need to be able to identify the root cause of an issue and troubleshoot the server to get it back online.
- Vulnerability scanning and patching experience. Our team currently utilizes WSUS and does manual patching.
- Knowledge or exposure to SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
