Leidos Office of the Chief Information Security Officer, aligned to our Defense Systems Sector, is looking for a skilled Classified Area System Administrator to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in designing, maintaining, and enhancing our architecture, ensuring compliance with information assurance requirements, and guaranteeing continuity of operations. All of your work will be performed on site at our Bridgewater, VA office.

What will you do in this role?
  • Report to the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and contribute to system design, hardware/software implementation, and overall infrastructure support.
  • Configure, administer, and maintain virtualized environments, specifically Hyper-V.
  • Oversee, troubleshoot, and configure Windows Server and Windows 11 systems.
  • Manage Windows Network Policy Server, DNS, and Active Directory services, Splunk, and ISE ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain Cisco Routers, Switches, and Next-Generation Firewalls and Intrusion Prevention Systems.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain encryption (TACLANE) devices.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues across systems, networks, and applications.
  • Collaborate with various IT staff to resolve issues with software, hardware, and network vendors/government entities as they arise.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Implement best practices for security, disaster recovery, and system redundancy.
  • Ensure the proper marking, handling, and storage of classified materials.

Basic Qualifications.
  • BS and 4 - 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 - 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active DoD 8570 IAT II baseline certification (Security+, GSEC, SSCP, etc).
  • Secret Clearance required with ability to obtain Top Secret.
  • Familiarity with DNS, RADIUS, Active Directory, and Virtualization of systems.
  • Experience with Cisco router and switch configurations.
  • Experience with Cisco Next-Generation Firewall and Intrusion Prevention Systems.
  • Windows Server and Windows 11 administration experience.

Preferred Qualifications.
  • Professional Certifications (i.e. Cisco, Microsoft, CompTIA, Splunk).
  • Top Secret Clearance.
  • Public Key Infrastructure configuration knowledge/experience.
  • 802.1x configuration knowledge/experience.
  • Experience with eMASS or other authorization tooling.
  • Splunk, CISCO ISE, ACAS, and Trellix (Formerly McAfee) experience.
  • Familiarity with TACLANE administration.

Pay Range $85,150.00 - $153,925.00
