We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Software Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will provide expert consultation on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives, with a focus on ServiceNow development and support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve multifaceted technical challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Software Engineer to join our team on a contingent basis. In this role, you will provide expert consultation on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives, with a focus on ServiceNow development and support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve multifaceted technical challenges, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead and consult on high-impact ServiceNow engineering initiatives, including new development and ongoing support.
- Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges involving multiple variables and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams and client personnel to design and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Apply deep knowledge of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB to enhance platform functionality and data integrity.
- Contribute to the development of custom workflows and modules, including Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Common Services Data Model (CSDM).
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative delivery cycles.
- 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent (e.g., consulting, military, education).
- 6+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and support.
- 2+ years of experience with one or more of the following:
- ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Common Services Data Model (CSDM)
- Custom workflow development
- Strong understanding of ITSM, ITIL, and CMDB principles.
- 2+ years of experience working in Agile delivery environments.
- Proven ability to navigate complex technical environments and deliver scalable solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
