Job Details

Our client is seeking Senior Software Engineer! The Full-Stack Developer will play a crucial role in the ongoing enhancement of a payment processing gateway and the development of a modern frontend microarchitecture. This position requires strong skills in Angular 20, Java, and SQL, with approximately 70% frontend and 30% backend focus.

 

Location: Hybrid, Denver, CO

Employment Type: 1 year contract

Hourly: $65-$70, W2

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of frontend microarchitecture using Angular (latest version) to build modular, high-performing user interfaces.
  • Contribute to backend development using Java (Spring Boot) and SQL to support APIs, data processing, and integration with the payment gateway.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate visual concepts into seamless, interactive user experiences.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack features that enhance payment processing and transaction management workflows.
  • Ensure application quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to modern best practices.
  • Optimize frontend and backend systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/LUGI) to streamline deployments and updates.
  • Use GIT for version control and manage development branches in a collaborative environment.
  • Deploy and maintain application components in AWS, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Write, tune, and maintain SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval and transaction performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Stay current on evolving technologies, particularly in Angular, Java, and payment gateway security.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong emphasis (70%) on Angular and frontend engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) and SQL for backend API and data integration.
  • Strong understanding of frontend microarchitecture, modular design, and microfrontend frameworks.
  • Advanced proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/LUGI) and GIT version control.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Strong understanding of performance optimization across the full stack.
