LINUX CLOUD ENGG - Linux Fundamentals:

* Proficiency in various Linux distributions, command-line tools, and kernel concepts is essential.

* System Administration: Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux servers, including user management, software installation, and system updates.

* Scripting: Ability to automate tasks and streamline workflows using scripting languages like Bash, Python, and Perl.

* Networking: Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, etc.), firewalls, and network troubleshooting.

* Virtualization: Experience with virtualization technologies like Hyper-V.

* Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.

* Automation: Knowledge of automation tools like Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.

* Security: Understanding of Linux system security principles, firewalls, and intrusion detection.

* Version Control: Experience with Git and other version control systems.

Soft Skills:

* Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

* Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for documentation and collaboration.

* Storage Area Networks (SAN): Understanding of SANs and their configuration for Linux systems.

Required Experience:

* 5+ years of experience with architecture, implementation, and operation of a Linux-based compute environment.

* Expert knowledge of Linux Environments (RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu). Automation of build, test, and release of Linux images.

* Experience managing and maintaining job scheduling tools

* Experience in an Oracle database environment is a plus
