Data Architect

Our Firm is responding to the growing demand for alternative data by modernizing their process of building data pipelines. In doing so, we are looking for a senior data architect/engineer:

The Senior Azure Data Architect/Engineer s main responsibilities will be:

• Designing and implementing high-volume data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Experience in designing solutions for large data warehouses and databases (Azure, Databricks and/or Snowflake)
• Gather requirements from business stakeholders.
• Experience in data architecture, data governance, data modeling, data transformation (from converting data, to data cleansing, to building data structures) data lineage, data Integration, and master data management.

Technical Skills

• Architecting and delivering solutions using the Azure Data Analytics platform including Azure Databricks/Azure SQL Data Warehouse
• Utilizing Databricks (for processing and transforming massive quantities of data and exploring the data through machine learning models)
• Design and build solutions powered by DBT models and integrate with Databricks.
• Utilize Snowflake for data application development, and secure sharing and consumption of real-time and/or shared data.
• Expertise in data manipulation and analysis using Python.
• SQL for data migration and analysis.
