About the Opportunity

We're supporting a major life sciences construction initiative in Wilson, NC, and seeking a Lead Project Scheduler to join the project controls team. This role is part of a high-impact biologics manufacturing buildout and will play a key leadership role in managing and integrating the project schedule across all phases of construction.

The project is entering its second month of steel erection and remains in early-stage construction. The schedule is largely developed, and the incoming scheduler will inherit a robust framework-your focus will be on integration, validation, and oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the full project schedule across multiple construction phases.

Validate and monitor schedule performance, report transparently on delays and risks.

Support and oversee two schedulers, including coordination with a 3rd party (project partner).

Interface/manage the Scheduling Director and project controls team.

Maintain visibility across all schedule components (e.g., production, warehouse).

Inherit and manage existing schedule files and team dynamics.

Required Qualifications

12-20+ years of experience in life sciences construction projects.

Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 required - Oracle Primavera Cloud experience specifically is a plus

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.

Recent experience in pharma projects, including commissioning, validation, and startup.

Ability to work onsite in Wilson, NC (relo or long distance commuting options considered).

Ideal Candidate Traits

Strong communicator with the ability to surface issues clearly and proactively.

Resilient and adaptable-comfortable in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Quick to build rapport with existing teams; collaborative and confident.

Able to manage complexity while maintaining clarity and accountability.

If you're a hands-on scheduler with deep life sciences experience and ready to take ownership of a high-profile build, we'd love to connect. Please submit your resume and a brief write-up highlighting relevant experience via email to Jenny DeMaria at !
