  • Work Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM


Position Overview

The Engineering Records and Document Management (ERDM) unit within a large engineering operations division is seeking an eBuilder Technician (Level 1 Specialist) to provide day-to-day support for the agency s eBuilder platform. This role supports construction and alteration programs by maintaining document integrity, standardization, and compliance while enabling effective project delivery through eBuilder administration, workflow support, and user assistance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily eBuilder maintenance and administrative support

  • Serve as Level 1 technical support for end users, resolving routine issues and escalating as needed

  • Support internal and external users including engineering staff, program offices, tenants, design professionals, construction managers, and contractors

  • Assist users with account access, project permissions, workflow overrides, troubleshooting, and file upload/download issues

  • Act as a point of contact between program offices, engineering solutions, and document control administration

  • Perform core administrative tasks such as:

    • Project setup

    • User provisioning

    • Template and mail merge maintenance

    • Document folder structure support

  • Support data transfer and integration between project tracking tools and eBuilder

  • Assist with implementation of project and program-level system enhancements, including updates to data fields, reports, dashboards, templates, and workflows

  • Support development of new processes by documenting user requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria

  • Participate in system testing and user acceptance activities

  • Maintain reporting fields tied to project documentation and status tracking

  • Troubleshoot workflows to ensure compliance with layout, folder structure, and user permissions

  • Prepare program- and project-level performance reports and dashboards

  • Deliver in-person and virtual training for eBuilder users and maintain training materials

  • Serve as backup support for the Engineering Help Desk as part of the eBuilder and Applications Support team


Required Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university

  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills

  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience using eBuilder or other construction/project management software

    • eBuilder experience highly preferred


Required Soft Skills

  • Self-motivated, quick learner with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision


Preferred Qualifications

  • Administrator-level experience with eBuilder

  • Experience supporting construction project management, document control, and financial reporting systems

  • Experience with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions (e.g., SharePoint, OpenText)

  • Experience developing or supporting Microsoft Power BI reports

  • Experience working with large public-sector, government, or utility organizations
