Job Description : Lead Software Engineer Guidewire Billing Configuration
What Will you do?
Perform the complex design, code build and deployment activities in various non prod and prod environment including development, Integration, QA, Performance, UAT and to production.
Build and maintain overall CI/CD pipeline for the project working with the development/QA teams on both shores.
Perform complex analysis, advanced level design, configuration and develop functions for impactful and high-visibility tasks.
Take the lead on directing and implementing solutions to moderately complex, loosely scoped problems that are aligned with team goals.
To work across different teams and develop optimal solutions.
Deliver efforts both independently and by leading other team members.
Lead investigation and resolution efforts for critical, high impact problems, defects, and incidents.
Act as a technology and build tools advocate, independently seeking opportunities where technology can be utilized to improve the business.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship while fostering a team environment.
Apply knowledge of current industry trends of development, continuous build and deployment and techniques to formulate solutions within the context of assigned efforts.
Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Eight years of programming/development/continuous build and deployment experience preferred.
8 years Guidewire Configuration development experience on Guidewire BillingCenter v10
2 to 4 years exposure and working knowledge as a build master
Experience in software configuration management
Guidewire Cloud implementation experience
Experience with Guidewire design and implementation.
Guidewire Ace Certification is preferred.
Experience in building code and deployment using advanced capabilities of CI/CD
Experience in Jenkins, Nexus repository, GITHUB/BitBucket, Urban code deploy (UCD) or any other continuous build and deployment tool
Experience in developing code using GOSU
Experience with Guidewire Billing Center and cloud knowledge required.
Billing Center Guidewire Configuration certification preferred.
Prior experience with Billing Center Upgrade / Implementation preferred
Experience in configuring and customizing rules, events, pcf's and entity changes on all policy transactions
Experience in connecting external systems using standard Guidewire API's/Plug-ins
Hands on Experience in SQL/PLSQL
Good communication skills
Agile scrum expertise preferred
Experience with Apache Camel, JSLT, Kafka, GIT, Guidewire Testing (GT) Framework.
Experience with Java, XML, JSON, Rest Services, and Event Messaging
Ability to guide/mentor junior Guidewire developers.
