Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Developer to join our CMDB Development team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
  • This role involves ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of CMDB data to support various IT service management processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure the ServiceNow CMDB, including CI classes, relationships, and attributes.
  • Implement and maintain Discovery patterns, probes, and sensors to populate CMDB data.
  • Integrate CMDB with other IT systems and tools.
  • Develop and maintain CMDB health dashboards and reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define CMDB requirements and ensure data quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CMDB-related issues.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong focus on CMDB.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Configuration Management.
  • Experience with Discovery and Service Mapping.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and other ServiceNow development technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS-ITSM) preferred.
