Job Details

Join our team as a Business Intelligence Engineer and play a vital role in transforming data into actionable insights to enhance Fulfillment Operations. Your expertise in business analytics will be key in driving efficiency and improving customer experiences on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated and user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
  • Create high-quality queries and visualizations for both immediate requests and ongoing reporting needs.
  • Develop self-service solutions to enhance process efficiency and scalability.
  • Apply analytical and statistical methods to solve complex problems and inform strategic business choices.
  • Assist in crafting key performance indicators to measure and boost overall performance.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of operational challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting their execution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Gain a deep understanding of various data resources and determine the best approach for their utilization.

Skills

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or PowerBI.
  • Strong experience in data analysis with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar databases.
  • Advanced SQL skills and scripting experience with Python for data processing and modeling.
  • Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools like R or SAS.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with engineers and business leaders.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative field such as BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, or mathematics.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Background in data mining and using databases in a business environment with large-scale datasets.
  • Understanding of system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in database environments.
  • Experience with inventory systems like SAP.
  • Master's degree in a relevant quantitative field.
