Job Order: Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Bethesda, MD (Local candidates only VA / MD)

Onsite Requirement: 3 days per week in office

Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support project teams by

managing requirements, facilitating communication across stakeholders, and ensuring

alignment between business needs and delivery capabilities. This role is not a project lead

but requires strong collaboration and documentation skills within an Agile environment. Must

also be technical: i.e. Java, .net, Aws certification, etc. experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Jira storyboards and related artifacts
  • Gather, analyze, and document project requirements
  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders
  • Balance requirements and capabilities to support realistic delivery
  • Document and communicate requirements across teams with varying skillsets
  • Support Agile ceremonies and processes as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Business Analyst experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Jira and Microsoft Office tools
  • Solid understanding of project management principles (non-lead role)
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies
  • Ability to document clearly between cross-functional teams
