GOOGLE CLOUD PLATFORM ARCHITECT -MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience in virtualization or cloud native architectures with Google Cloud Platform.
  2. Experience on a full lifecycle project implementation using Google Cloud Platform. The project must include three (3) or more of the following Google Big Data Technologies:
    a. Big Query;
    b. Looker;
    c. Google Map;
    d. Pub/Sub;
    e. Apigee; or
    f. Data processing technologies (e.g. Data fusion, DataFlow and Dataplex), performance, and scalability
    optimization.
  3. Current and valid certification as Professional Cloud Architect in Google Cloud Platform.

The Google Cloud Platform Architect (Google Cloud Platform) role will have the following responsibilities:

Designing and developing cloud solutions: Google Cloud Platform Architect will work with Organization's stakeholders to
understand the org-as-a-Service needs and then design and develop cloud solutions that meet
those needs. This may involve designing the overall architecture of the solution, as well as
selecting and configuring the appropriate Google Cloud Platform products and services.
Managing cloud infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform Architect is responsible for configuring and managing the
Google Cloud Platform infrastructure and the Google Cloud Platform tools for the Modernization Project. This includes tasks
such as provisioning, configuring, and managing computer resources, storage, and networking.
Ensuring security and compliance: Google Cloud Platform Architect is responsible for ensuring that Org's Google Cloud Platform
cloud solutions are secure and compliant with all relevant regulations. This may involve tasks such
as designing and implementing security controls and managing access to cloud resources.
Optimizing cloud costs: Google Cloud Platform Architect is responsible for optimizing the costs of their cloud
solutions. This may involve tasks such as choosing the right Google Cloud Platform products and services and
configuring them in a cost-effective way.
Supporting the cloud team: Google Cloud Platform Architect provides support to the cloud team and helps them to
troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise.
