As a SharePoint Developer on the Corporate Systems team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SharePoint solutions for an internal associate portal. You will be following Publix Microsoft 365 governance, security, and design policies and coordinating SharePoint administration tasks. You are expected to work with business areas and stakeholders to document business processes and requirements.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop, configure, and maintain SharePoint sites, custom forms, and flows to meet business requirements and optimize user experience.
  • Create front-end custom web parts, apps and solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
  • Customize and extend the SharePoint Online experience by using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and other technologies including React.JS.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to optimize the user experience using React components for SharePoint Online including PnP libraries.
  • Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions, and data management.
  • Build forms and workflows using SharePoint Online and PowerApps/Power automated flows.
  • Implement, deploy, package, and maintain the new internal associate portal in SharePoint.
  • Work in a team environment, translating business and technical needs into creative designs.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and provide ongoing maintenance of the internal associate portal.
  • Update documentation, processes and knowledge articles as needed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience working as a software engineer in a large enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years of SharePoint and web development experience
  • 4+ years of experience working in current web-based technologies and trends such as HTML 5, JavaScript, AJAX, and CSS frameworks.
  • 4+ years of experience in Agile System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience developing solutions in SharePoint Framework (SPFx) using React or Angular
  • 3+ years of experience building Power automated flows, Power Apps, and Power BI
  • 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server including writing and executing queries and stored procedures.
  • 3+ years of experience working with .Net (C#), IIS, Azure Active Directory and SharePoint site configuration including building web APIs and services.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing Application Lifecycle Management strategies for SPFx solutions, including version control and release management using Azure Repos, pipelines.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management using tools such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, DevOps, SQL Management Studio and GitHub
  • Experience publishing and consuming web services or API using XML and/or JSON.
  • Knowledge of configuring Microsoft search in SharePoint, PnP webparts and third-party tools
  • Strong knowledge in creating the team sites, hubs, taxonomy, and metadata in SharePoint admin central.
  • Experience working with permissions, groups, and site governance in SharePoint online.
  • Knowledge of automating the SharePoint online activities using PowerShell scripts
  • Experience in customizing the SharePoint site or hub navigation and applying styling and theming.
  • Experience working in a mature, process oriented, structured environment which includes change management, incident ticketing, and disaster recovery preparedness.
  • Knowledge of Miro or Visio for creating diagrams
