Skills- Oracle Xstore, Retail
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Xstore Functional Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Xstore POS solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to deliver high-quality retail POS solutions, ensuring smooth operations and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis & Solution Design:
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and design Oracle Xstore solutions aligned with retail business needs.
- Analyse existing retail POS processes and recommend best practices.
- Implementation & Configuration:
- Configure and customize Oracle Xstore POS to meet client requirements.
- Define and execute test cases, including system integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Integration & Deployment:
- Work with technical teams to integrate Oracle Xstore with backend ERP, e-commerce, CRM, and payment solutions.
- Assist in deployment activities, including data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
- Support & Maintenance:
- Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to Oracle Xstore POS.
- Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and upgrades as required.
- Train end-users and support teams to ensure smooth adoption of Xstore functionalities.
- Retail Business Process Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of store operations, omnichannel retailing, promotions, loyalty programs, and payment processing.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
- 8-10 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Oracle Xstore POS implementation and support.
- Hands-on experience in retail POS solutions, store operations, and payments.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Retail Suite, including integration with Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), Oracle Retail Customer Engagement (ORCE), Oracle SIM, and e-commerce platforms.
- Experience in requirement gathering, functional design, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
- Ability to work with technical teams for integrations, configurations, and customizations.
- Good understanding of SQL queries, troubleshooting logs, and APIs for issue resolution.
- Experience in agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Cloud-based Oracle Retail Xstore POS solutions.
- Knowledge of Microservices Architecture & REST APIs.
- Prior experience in multi-country retail rollouts.
- Oracle Retail/Xstore certifications are a plus.
