Job Description:

Job Title: Data Analyst / Modeler

Location: Hybrid - 4 days/week onsite

Duration: Long-term Contract

Role Overview

This role supports the Business and Sales Planning Analytics (BSPA) Used Vehicle Valuations team by performing analysis and modeling of used vehicle residual values, auction prices, and market drivers. The position focuses on delivering actionable insights and forecasts for the U.S. and Canadian used vehicle markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Development & Forecasting
    • Develop and maintain models to quantify relationships between auction prices and key residual value drivers.
    • Provide accurate residual value forecasts to support critical business processes.
  • Market Analysis
    • Quantify and decompose residual value gaps between brands and vehicles.
    • Analyze and interpret model results to identify trends and insights.
  • Data Visualization & Reporting
    • Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.
    • Prepare presentation materials for management and business stakeholders.
  • Advanced Analytics
    • Apply and integrate the latest analytical tools and data sources to improve price modeling accuracy.
    • Execute descriptive and inferential ad hoc analyses for management and business customers.
