Position :: Video System Engineer

Location :: New York City, New York ( Must be Loca ) 4 Day Onsite.

Duration :: 6-12 months

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement video conferencing systems for boardrooms, training rooms, and meeting spaces of varying sizes.
• Manage commissioning, decommissioning, provisioning, and pre-production/production support for new and existing AV environments.
• Collaborate with vendors, network teams, and facilities to coordinate system deployments and ensure timely installations.
• Configure and provision systems, including assigning static IPs, designing networks, and securing endpoints.
• Administer and maintain platforms such as Webex, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, BlueJeans, and Outlook integrations.
• Provide break/fix support, manage RMAs, and ensure AV service uptime and quality.
• Lead end-to-end configuration, testing, and documentation of new TelePresence and video endpoint installations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in video conferencing and audiovisual engineering within enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Cisco Webex, Cisco TelePresence, CUCM, Control Hub, Call Manager
  • Crestron, Extron, Biamp, ClearOne, Sennheiser, Cisco Unity, Cisco IP Phones
  • Experience with Zoom meetings and room technology is a must
• Proficiency in AV room design, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with network fundamentals, including VLANs, QoS, and IP configuration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Detail-oriented, self-directed, and reliable under real-world field conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting enterprise environments such as Verizon or Meta (or similar scale).
• Working knowledge of Webex Contact Center and Webex Services.
• Ongoing or completed education in Network Operations and Security (a plus).
