job summary:


  • The contractor will be responsible for developing, coordinating, facilitating and implementing moderately complex processes and/or process improvements.
  • They will analyze business areas, services, and/or platforms to make improvements to moderately complex processes within best practices. Along with this, the contractor will identify automation opportunities by reporting or leaning out a process.
  • Looking for someone highly motivated; a detail-oriented 'process engineer'.
  • This contractor will be working with a team of SME's, technical resources, and a Project Manager to:
  • facilitate existing process mapping with cross functional SMEs, identify waste
  • identify opportunities for process optimization and automation
  • facilitate to-be process mapping
  • align optimized processes to software capabilities with technical resources
  • establish success criteria and corresponding metrics

salary: $42.14 - 52.14 per hour

work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:


  • Facilitate process optimization meetings.
  • Recommend changes for continuous process improvements
  • Conduct research of potential process improvements and analyze data to develop and make recommendations for process solutions
  • Coordinate the implementation of process improvements
  • Develop maintenance protocol
  • Prepare post-implementation review process and reporting on success criteria
  • Provide regular updates on progress for assigned work to a Project Manager.


qualifications:


  • Experience as a process engineer in a corporate environment.
  • Good knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
  • Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Excellent group facilitation and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with process automation.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math) and a minimum of six years of work experience in technical infrastructure, IT Process design/process improvement or IT Project Management positions
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of eight years of related work experience in technical infrastructure, IT process design/process improvement or IT project management position.
