Job Details

OpenShift Engineer
6-12+ months contract
Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX (hybrid)

Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and manage Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) clusters in on-prem, hybrid, or cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Set up and maintain infrastructure for multi-tenant OpenShift environments.
Containerize applications using Docker and deploy them on OpenShift.
Set up centralized logging using ELK/EFK stack or OpenShift Logging.
Configure OpenShift networking including routes, ingress controllers, and service mesh (Istio).
Provision and manage storage classes, persistent volumes, and dynamic storage provisioning.
Document configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and security teams to ensure smooth deployment of applications.

Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 5 to 7+ years of experience in OpenShift
Certifications in OpenShift
