job summary:

We're seeking highly experienced individuals that can support large scale program testing initiatives as well as contribute to the ongoing development and growth of our Business Testing Center of Excellence


Individuals need to have prior experience working on testing with Business people (User acceptance testing). Following an agile / Waterfall methodologies


Role Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):


- JIRA, Confluence, and JIRA Test Management Framework(JTMF) experience


- Experience managing testing for agile and hybrid projects


- Exceptional communication, influencing and partnership skills


- Test Mgmt of highly complex projects or programs with minimal management supervision


- Prepare test artifacts such as test strategy, test plan and test closure documents


- Manage and coordinate test planning and test execution activities


- Manage the planning and development of test cases and validate complete test coverage


- Ensure team follows governance standards and protocols as defined within the PDLC


- Train and mentor business resources who are selected to participate in business testing


- Document risks and provide timely escalation of issues, partner with the team to assess options and provide recommendations for prompt resolution


- Prepare various estimates for resource planning, budgeting, and schedule


- Create test execution, defect status and other reports


- Facilitate and manage defect triage and planning meetings


Performance Measurement:


Performance will be based on feedback from the overall test lead, ensuring there is engagement, preparing artifacts well, and quality of work.


Must-Have Skills:


- 5+ years managing testing for highly complex projects with minimal management supervision needed.


- 5+ years managing business testing. (User acceptance testing). Need to be comfortable working with business stakeholders for testing


- 5+ years in the banking/financial industry


- 5+ years managing testing in a highly matrixed organization using Agile and Waterfall methodologies


- 5+ years creating or supporting development of Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Closure documents


- 3+ years using JIRA and JTMF (Jira Test Management Framework)


- Experience with managing testing for regulatory projects.


Nice-to-Have Skills:


- Done training in the past - put training materials together is a plus; putting content together and disseminating to other groups of people

Educational Requirements:


Undergraduate degree preferred, in relevant disciplines such as computer sciences.


Years of Overall Experience: 1-2 years managing testing for regulatory projects.

qualifications:

This is not a generic QA position. The manager needs two senior, hands-on QA/Test Managers who have personally executed tests and can independently run large-scale regulatory and UAT testing efforts end to end.
