Job Title: System Administrator (Onshore Hybrid, NY) Duration: 2 Years
Clearance Required: Federal Security Clearance (limited)
Location: Hybrid Must be able to report onsite in New York
Open VMS Experience: Required
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with expertise in Open VMS to support a long-term federal project. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, familiarity with security protocols, and the ability to work in a hybrid environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Open VMS systems
- Monitor system performance and availability
- Apply security patches and system updates
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues
- Support federal compliance and security requirements
- Collaborate with development and operations teams
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Open VMS
- Previous experience in a federal or security-sensitive environment
- Federal security clearance (or ability to obtain limited clearance)
- Ability to work on-site in NY as required
