Accelerator Tool SME

NewGen is seeking an Accelerator Tool SME to modernize systems and processes and reduce the Service s reliance on costly and unsustainable legacy technology.

Required skills/Level of Experience :

• 10 years experience with MAM toolset. Developer / Architect with experience refactoring code.
• Broad range of programming experience.
• Experience with full-stack development and mainframe environment.
• Ability to learn ADDI and ARC accelerator toolsets.
• Broad range of programming experience with an understanding of object-oriented programming principles, Java syntax, libraries, frameworks, and best practices and have the ability to translate assembly logic to modern constructs such as mapping assembly instructions to equivalent Java code using loops, conditional statements, functions, and object-oriented design patterns.
• Problem-solving skills: Using ADDI's insights the candidate will assist other team members pinpoint potential issues during modernization. Strong problem-solving skills are needed to develop solutions and mitigate identified risks.
• Experience with other z/OS tools: The candidate with have familiarity with other z/OS analysis or development tools.
