Building engineer

The Engineering Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a medical device organization that has an opening for a Building Engineer near Somerset County, NJ!

Job Details:

Support critical facility operations overnight in a GLP/GMP-compliant pharmaceutical environment. This role ensures consistent temperature and humidity control in cleanrooms and performs basic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor client systems to ensure cleanroom environments remain within required specs
• Perform assigned work orders and scheduled PMs in an industrial setting
• Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, and basic plumbing systems
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards in a regulated environment.

Requirements:

• Strong HVAC expertise (certification preferred)
• Refrigeration maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• High school diploma or GED
• 4+ years of relevant hands-on experience
• Comfortable using CMMS systems and basic computer tools
• Basic plumbing skills
• Experience in GLP/GMP environments
• Mechanical troubleshooting and facility maintenance

Additional Details:

• 5 Months contract with potential for extension / conversion
• Pay Range approved: $25-35hr

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
