As our Director of Engineering, you'll lead the technical vision and execution of this ambitious product, shaping the future of AI accessibility.

What You'll Do

Technical Leadership

• Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems for our AI agent platform
• Build intuitive front-end and back-end interfaces for user onboarding and secure data submission
• Integrate LLMs, computer vision, and NLP models into user-friendly, no-code workflows
• Oversee development across web apps, mobile SDKs, and API integrations
• Define and evolve our technical roadmap with a balance of innovation and reliability

Team Leadership & Development

• Hire and mentor a diverse engineering team across frontend, backend, AI/ML, and DevOps
• Foster a collaborative, user-centric engineering culture
• Implement agile practices for rapid, high-quality delivery

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Collaborate with data scientists to optimize model performance and platform intelligence
• Support go-to-market efforts with technical expertise during customer engagements

What You Bring

Technical Expertise

• 6+ years in software engineering, 3+ years in technical leadership
• Full-stack proficiency: React, Vue, Angular + Node.js, Python, Go, Java (Spring Boot)
• Deep experience with AI/ML integration, especially LLMs and agentic platforms (LangGraph, n8n)
• Cloud mastery: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure; Docker, Kubernetes
• Strong database skills: SQL & NoSQL, data modeling for AI
• RESTful APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and mobile SDK development
• Backend strengths: Python, Java (Spring Boot), Microservices, Hibernate, AWS Lambda

Advanced Skills

• AI/ML deployment, fine-tuning, and prompt engineering
• Real-time systems: WebSockets, streaming data
• DevOps: CI/CD, monitoring, site reliability
• Microservices architecture and distributed systems

Domain Experience

• B2B SaaS platform development
• Enterprise-grade security and compliance (GDPR, CCPA)
• Open-source contributions or developer tool experience

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Proven success managing teams of 3-8 engineers
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
• Empathy for non-technical users and a passion for intuitive UX
• Startup mindset: adaptable, resourceful, and execution-focused

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $200000.00 - $255000.00/yr.
