Primary Skills
- Drilling, Downhole, Oil&Gas
- Hardware Analog and Mixed signal design
- Microcontroller based multi-chip board development for oil & gas environment,
- Familiarity with board-to-board communication protocols like SPI, I2C, CAN
- Additional experience with FPGA based hardware design
- Experience with schematic & layout; schematics & PCB tools
- Hands on experience on design verification, testing & troubleshooting and failure analysis
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- A bachelor s degree in the appropriate discipline and 7+ years of relevant experience.
- The candidate must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to problem solve independently
- The candidate be an expert user in Altium Designer or other similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Electronic Hardware design
- Demonstrated technical problem-solving aptitude
- Exceptional communication skills written and verbal
- Strong Customer Service orientation, to work with Design Engineering Customers
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize work
- General ability to be the focal for designs and provide CAD tool expertise to internal customers
- Demonstrated ability to follow through with work assignments and support management's policies and procedures
- Must be able to demonstrate an ability to continually learn new technologies and processes
