Position Summary

Support design, production, assembly, implementation of technical devices for heavy-ion accelerator operations Produce system-level models and 2-D and 3-D drawings (with extensive use of GD&T) to support engineering design of room temperature technical equipment. Interact with stakeholders to transform technical requirements into design solutions. Produce and document design solutions by developing models and concepts, creating CAD designs and conducting analysis. Present design solutions and convene design reviews. Provide support for fabrication, assembly, and commissioning of technical equipment. Operational (including maintenance and repair) and spare device support for completed projects.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or closely related field.

Minimum Requirements:

3 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer or any related engineering position. Must have three years of experience in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and system-level detailing with GD&T of mechanical drawings for production.
