Job Description:
1. Set up Kafka foundational layer with well architected framework
Hosting/Infrastructure Setup/Configuration/Deployment Pipeline
1. AWS MSK Setup - Cloudformation template, Deployment via Gitlab
2. Other Kafka component hosting
3. Kafka connect
a. Kafka proxy
b. Schema registry
c. Cruise control
d. KSQL
e. AKHQ setup (GUI tool)
This needs to be built and developed on AWS ECS
4. Monitoring
- Leverage Prometheus and Grafana to scrape and design monitoring and Observability for MSK.
- If needed host it on AWS ECS.
5. ECS setup - CloudFormation template, Deployment via Gitlab
