Job Title: Senior Salesforce Developer / Architect Type: W2 Only

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect to lead the design, development, and optimization of Salesforce solutions within the healthcare domain. This individual will play a dual role driving architectural decisions while also delivering hands-on development. Ideal candidates will have deep Salesforce expertise and a solid understanding of healthcare-specific needs and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design scalable Salesforce solutions leveraging best practices, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
• Lead end-to-end integration efforts with external healthcare systems (EHR/EMR, ERP, marketing, patient service platforms) using APIs, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, and other middleware.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate healthcare requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and guide junior developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring system reliability and data integrity.
• Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Partner with QA teams to validate functionality and performance.
• Document architectural decisions, development standards, and deployment processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to optimize platform performance and development efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 12+ years of Salesforce development experience, including architecture and solution design.
• Experience working with or supporting healthcare organizations.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I & II certifications required. Application Architect/System Architect certifications are highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Salesforce configuration/custom development.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security architecture, and sharing rules.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Salesforce DevOps tools.
• Solid knowledge of HIPAA, data protection standards, and healthcare compliance.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Health Cloud or similar healthcare-oriented Salesforce products.
• Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or other healthcare data standards and protocols.
• Knowledge of patient engagement, care management, or clinical workflows in Salesforce.
