Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SAP Consultant specializing in Leave Management and Compliance Tracking to support our HR technology environment. The role will involve configuring and maintaining time off policies, ensuring compliance with labor laws and internal policies, and supporting global leave management processes through SAP systems such as SAP HCM Time Management or SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure SAP Leave Management (Time Off) solutions to meet local and global absence tracking requirements.
- Design and maintain time types, absence quotas, accrual rules, work schedules, and holiday calendars.
- Support integration with payroll and time evaluation processes, ensuring accuracy in leave payouts or deductions.
- Monitor compliance with country-specific labor laws (e.g., FMLA, statutory sick leave, paid time off regulations).
- Develop and maintain reports for HR and compliance teams (e.g., leave balances, absenteeism, audit logs).
- Configure and manage workflows for leave request approvals and notifications.
- Troubleshoot user or system issues and support leave-related queries from HR or employees.
- Collaborate with compliance, legal, and audit teams to ensure leave policies and tracking mechanisms meet internal and external requirements.
- Stay updated on relevant labor law changes and adjust system configurations as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in HR, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3 6 years of experience in SAP Time Management (on-premise HCM) or SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Time Off.
- Strong understanding of leave policies, accruals, carryover logic, and compliance reporting.
- Experience with configuration of time types, time valuation, and employee self-service (ESS/MSS).
- Knowledge of workflow configuration, business rules, and rule-based validations in SAP SuccessFactors (if applicable).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to translate HR compliance requirements into system design.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Certification in Time Management or SuccessFactors Time Off.
- Experience with multi-country leave configurations and compliance monitoring.
- Familiarity with integration to payroll and attendance devices.
- Experience in audit and compliance reporting for HR or regulatory purposes.
