Job Description:
Agile Team Coach
We are looking for a knowledgeable and collaborative Agile Coach who can mentor, train, and support our organization through our Agile Transformation. A strong collaborator with exceptional coaching and soft skills who embraces a continuous learning/improvement mindset will be an ideal match for the position. You will be responsible for coaching teams in understanding the value of our organization's policies on Scrum and Kanban ways of working. We expect our Agile Coach to train, mentor, and support teams in adopting the new processes and educate them on how to work through any cultural and mindset shifts the transformation may cause.

Agile Team Coach

You will be responsible for coaching teams in understanding the value of our organization's policies on Scrum and Kanban ways of working. We expect our Agile Coach to train, mentor, and support teams in adopting the new processes and educate them on how to work through any cultural and mindset shifts the transformation may cause.
Responsibilities
- Train and Mentor Scrum and Kanban teams to enable the organizational transition to Agile
- Assist Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Tech Leads with meeting preparation and facilitation towards continuous planning and delivery
- Assist Scrum Masters in efficient facilitation techniques and ways to develop an environment of continuous improvement
- Assist Product Owners in crafting a healthy product backlog to enable successful iterative delivery
- Coaching teams on understanding the principles of an Agile mindset and adopting the organizational methodology rooted in Scrum.
- Identify relevant metrics and collaborate on defining the measurement system
- Apply system thinking to uncover bottlenecks
- Improve engagement between teams and stakeholders
- Setup regular audits for measuring process adoption and improvements
- Address team member questions and concerns, and enable a continuous feedback loop
- Empower team leaders to partner with business stakeholders and make more strategic decisions
- Cultivate a continuous learning and continuous improvement mindset
- Instruct and support teams on adoption of the organization's Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Communications, Operations, Business, or Technology
- 2+ years as an Agile Team Coach
- 5+years related work experience
- 8+ years of combined business or technology experience within an Agile environment
- Expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or SAFe methodologies
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and facilitation
- Collaborator who understands peoples concerns
- Scrum certifications are a plus
- Coaching-related certifications are a plus
