Operations and Security Analyst

G2 Software Systems, Inc. (G2) is looking for a self-directed and motivated Operations and Security Analyst for one of our DoD program office customers. The individual filling this position will serves as Security and Operations Analyst within the Business Finance and Operations Directorate of the Joint Tactical Networking Center (JTNC) and will provide Operations and Security subject matter expertise and administrative support to the Operations Directorate as well as other teams across the program office as required. In addition, the individual will participate in meetings, provide updates and deliverables, and will perform other duties as assigned by leadership. The individual shall provide Security support, although not limited to, the following areas:

• Security Clearance Oversight: The DoD Security Manager shall ensure all personnel accessing classified spaces possess the appropriate security clearances and maintain accurate records of clearance levels, expiration dates, and any access restrictions. Supporting the Government in developing and responding to program data calls, white papers, and requests for information from multiple sources.
• Physical Security Measures: Implement and maintain physical security measures such as access controls, surveillance systems, and intrusion detection systems to safeguard classified information from unauthorized access or compromise.
• Security Training and Education: Conduct regular security briefings and training sessions to educate personnel on the proper handling, storage, and transmission of classified materials, as well as procedures for reporting security incidents or breaches.
• Compliance and Auditing: Regularly audit and assess classified spaces for compliance with DoD security regulations and standards, identifying and addressing any vulnerabilities or non-compliance issues to mitigate risks and maintain the integrity of classified information.
• Assist the Operations Teams with onsite/offsite events, facilities issues as well as ADHOC, operations-related requirements to support the organization.

Required Experience:

• Experience with the operations management to include facility security
• Experience with military customs and courtesies
• Experience with end-to-end clearance requirements for access to classified information
• Experience with JRIC/JWICS networks and protocol
• Microsoft Office suite

• Experience with military customs and courtesies

This position requires an individual to be a and either have, or be able to obtain, and retain a DoD clearance at the Top Secret/SCI Level.

Location: This is a hybrid position. The workforce is required to report physically to the DoD offices located aboard Naval Base Point Loma, Harbor Drive Annex, San Diego, CA two to three times a week. Additional days at the client site may be required from time to time as required to support classified workloads.

The pay range for this position in California is $130,000/year to $170,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract wages, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
