Role: Release Train Engineer

W2 Contract Role

Location: Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC

JD:

ey Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.

  • Serve as a servant leader and coach for multiple Agile teams across the ART.

  • Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using various tools and techniques (e.g., Kanban, flow metrics).

  • Coordinate with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.

  • Escalate and track impediments; manage risks and dependencies.

  • Drive continuous improvement and facilitate feedback loops across the program.

  • Ensure transparency into ART progress, issues, and metrics through appropriate reporting and communication.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and agile maturity across teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, or Agile Program Manager.

  • Strong knowledge of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Agile principles.

  • Experience facilitating Agile events across multiple teams.

  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and facilitation skills.
