A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Business Systems Analyst (BSA).

Position type: Fulltime Contract

Duration: 6 months

Location: Lakeland FL (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with 5+ years of hands-on experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and Agile delivery. This is not a Scrum Master or Project Manager role we need someone deeply rooted in the BABOK framework and capable of driving business analysis efforts across complex systems and cloud environments.

Skills Required:

  • 5-9 years business system analysis / scrum master experience in systems analysis
  • 5-9 years business system analysis / scrum master experience planning, organizing, and managing all activities associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment
  • 5-9 years business system analysis / scrum master experience analyzing problems and translating into solutions
  • 5-9 years business system analysis / scrum master experience working with enterprise database management system (e.g. SQL server, Oracle)
  • 5-9 year experience working in Agile/Scrum/Kanban
  • 5-9 years agile requirements management experience including user story creation
  • Experience working as a Scrum Master within an Agile/Scrum framework and its application in product development and delivery
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum methodology through the software development life cycle with multiple Cloud development teams in pre-production and production
  • Scrum Master certification is required
  • Experience utilizing Agile project management and code management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps or Jira)
  • Strong experience within software engineering, specifically DevOps & modern web application architectures, Cloud migration projects, micro-services architectures, big data projects, application modernization/application dev/mainframe modernization engagements and running modernization projects, and large-scale cloud migration projects
  • Active involvement with solutions and delivery decisions with architects, cloud engineers, cloud specialist, and DevOps engineers
  • Experience working with several technical teams to understand requirements, then breaking down those requirements into epics/features/stories on Azure DevOps
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for creating an enjoyable and productive team environment Experience working for large company and within a matrix organization
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure, related systems client/server, workstations and servers
  • Basic concepts of Item/Product master data in Retail and/or Manufacturing industry domain
  • Experience performing data analysis by creating and executing queries, interpreting results, and communicating finding to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience and knowledge of project and problem management, change management, and other systems development processes
  • Experience supporting data and process governance of distribution system compliance in accordance with company policies and standards
  • Good understanding of cloud solution architecture patterns and design principles, of different attributes for cloud application availability and scalability, and the ability to propose optimized design for cloud
  • Demonstrated multi-tasking and time management skills to manage workload, to drive the work of others, and to adhere to deadlines and high quality
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
  • Strong working knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) with the ability to work within the defined roles and responsibilities
  • Experience in identifying and supporting process improvements

Special Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Azure is preferred
  • Possess at least one of the following Agile certifications: PSM, CSM

Work Description and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with management on project planning, resource allocation and vendor management
  • Lead a team on small-to-large efforts across all aspects of the SDLC
  • Work independently and within a team environment to complete development efforts
  • Communicate effectively with business team members
  • Proactively communicate with management and the team on issues and/or any system changes
  • Document current and proposed business processes and/or business rules
  • Document technical design models, specifications, and test results
  • Serve as an application expert on assigned application(s)
  • Coordinate and facilitate and/or coach Scrum team members to facilitate Scrum events, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint reviews, product demos, and sprint retrospectives
  • Be a servant leader on Scrum teams delivering high value increments of work following Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Work with Product Owners to align Scrum team activities and deliverables with Stakeholder s release plans and sprint goals
  • Protects the Scrum team members from interruptions
  • Help the Scrum teams to collaborate and communicate effectively within the team and across other Scrum teams
  • Owns the impediment removal process and escalates to the appropriate team member or manager for review and resolution
  • Track and communicate Scrum team velocity, team capacity, team productivity, and related team planning and performance metrics via dashboards and radiators
  • Champion continuous improvement activities across the Scrum teams to increase productivity and reduce waste
  • Provide Agile/Scrum coaching to Scrum team and team members
  • Support the Development Team with the Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) process
  • Ensure Scrum teams are practicing core Agile principles

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range*: $55- $60/per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
