Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced OpenText Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise to design, configure, and optimize OpenText Content Server solutions that align with our business objectives. You will play a key role in transforming complex processes into efficient, scalable solutions, guiding teams and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless content management and operational excellence.

Location: Remote but local to the DMV
Clearance Needed: NIH Public Trust

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive Content Server configuration services to meet specific business needs and process requirements.
  • Apply advanced consulting skills and technical expertise to develop solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Design and implement metadata schemas, taxonomies, and security models within the Content Server platform to facilitate efficient content organization.
  • Analyze business workflows to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document specifications, and translate needs into effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including configuration specifications and user guides.
  • Mentor and supervise team members, providing guidance and sharing best practices.
  • Support deployment activities and end-user training to ensure successful implementation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and customizing OpenText Content Server solutions.
  • Proven ability to analyze business processes and translate requirements into technical implementations.
  • Strong experience in developing technical documentation such as configuration specs and user guides.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing metadata schemas, taxonomies, and security models.
  • Ability to work independently and provide mentorship to team members.
  • Ability to obtain and hold a Public Trust or related clearance as required.
  • Content Server Business Analyst Certification.
  • Experience with content management automation and workflow optimization.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for enterprise content management.
